By accessing or using Bone to Bowl ("the Service"), operated by Poodle Ventures, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
This Service is intended for users located in the United States who are 18 years of age or older. By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

AI-generated meal plans are a starting point, not a prescription. Every dog is different. You should:
Calorie targets are calculated using the veterinary RER formula and standard metabolic energy multipliers. They are estimates and may not be appropriate for every individual dog.
You may use the Service as a guest without creating an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for:
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@bonetobowl.com. We will remove your personal data within 30 days of your request. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Camera and photo library access is requested only when you choose to use the photo features. You may decline camera access and use the manual entry option instead.
Meal plans are generated by Claude, an AI model operated by Anthropic, PBC. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a specific dog. We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or nutritional completeness of any generated recipe.
You are responsible for reviewing recipes before feeding them to your dog. When in doubt, consult your veterinarian.
Kibble label photos: When you use the nutrition label photo feature, the image you capture or upload is sent to Anthropic's API for automated text extraction. The image is compressed before transmission and is not stored by us after processing. By using this feature, you consent to the temporary transmission of the photo to Anthropic for processing. Anthropic's use of this data is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
Pet profile photos: Photos you upload for your dog's profile are stored securely in cloud storage provided by Supabase and are associated with your account. By uploading a photo, you confirm that you have the right to share it and grant Poodle Ventures, LLC a limited licence to store and display it solely for the purpose of operating the Service on your behalf.
The Bone to Bowl name, logo, design, and original content are owned by Poodle Ventures, LLC. The recipes generated for you through the Service are yours to use for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Nutrient data is sourced from the USDA FoodData Central database, which is a public domain resource.
Bone to Bowl offers a free tier that includes two recipe generations and one dog profile, with no credit card required. Additional features require a paid subscription.
Subscriptions are available on a monthly ($9.99/month) or annual ($79.99/year) basis. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the customer portal accessible from within the app.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Bone to Bowl does not store your payment card details. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
We reserve the right to change pricing at any time with reasonable notice. Changes will not affect active subscription periods already paid for.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any recipes generated will be appropriate for your dog.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Poodle Ventures, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to harm to your pet resulting from following AI-generated dietary suggestions.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Poodle Ventures, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law; or (d) harm to your pet resulting from dietary choices you make based on content generated by the Service.
You and Poodle Ventures, LLC agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding individual arbitration, not through a class action or jury trial. The arbitration will be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by contacting us in writing within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes not subject to arbitration shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Michigan.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
